In this article, users will learn the steps required to view a documents version history. Users will be able to view information about the different versions of the document and is useful feature from a compliance perspective.

Viewing document version history with Filer
Navigate to the SharePoint site where Filer is installed at your organisation.
Search for the record you are looking for using search, bookmarks, views or briefcases.
From the list of files in a particular record, select the file that you would like to view document version history.
Select the ‘version history’ icon.
A pop-up box will appear displaying all versions of the document, with information about who modified the document and when it was modified. Users can restore a version of the document by clicking ‘Rollback’.
After clicking ‘Rollback’ on a previous version, an updated version of the document will be created in Filer, appear for all users, and appear in version history.
