Within this article we will cover how you can move documents from one entity to another entity.

1.1.1 Moving documents between entities
- Navigate to the Filer admin centre then select ‘Configuration’ from the left-hand menu.
- You will then see a pop up and from here select the configuration that you want to manage.
- You will notice the interface will change now to show the configuration that you are currently managing in the top right-hand corner of the page.
- From here select ‘Record Management’ from the side menu
- Then select ‘Move’ from the headings across the top of the screen.
- You will be presented with this screen and in the first 2 fields you should enter the primary identifier for the entities you want to use to move from and to and select ‘Search’ to verify these, if they exist you will receive a message below the field to let you know.
- When you search for the ‘Move from Entity’ you will be presented with a list of records that sit against this entity and you can use the checkboxes to select one or more of these to be moved. From here you can also optionally add some comments for auditing purposes and once you are happy to proceed select ‘Move Records’.
