In this article, users will learn the steps required to view Trigr automation flow. This feature is used when automation flows are needed against files such as document approval processes. Your organisation may have different automation uses, in this example, the steps will highlight starting a document approval.
In this article, screenshots will follow the example of an employee record context. All steps outlined below will be relevant for your context.
How to run a Trigr
Navigate to the SharePoint site where Filer is installed at your organisation.
Search for the record you are looking for using search, bookmarks, views or briefcases.
From the list of files in a particular record, select the file that you would like to run a Trigr flow against.
Select the ‘Trigr’ icon.
A right-hand panel will appear displaying all Trigr flows available for the file. In this example we have a document approval process setup.
Click ‘Start’ this will run the Trigr flow in the backend. If there is another Trigr flow setup, you will be able to run another Trigr flow by clicking ‘Run Another’.
